Huawei's 4" Honor Android Smartphone Offers 1.4GHz CPU, 8MP Camera
Huawei didn't used to be a name you saw creep up in the consumer universe, but now, it's one name that's growing impossible to miss. After launching a new of slates and smartphones in recent months, the company's making yet another splash with a striking handset: the Honor. It's a phone based on Android 2.3.5 (Gingerbread), featuring a 4" FWVGA capacitive touch screen, 1.4GHz processor, 8MP HDR-enabled camera, 2MP front-facing camera and a body that measures only 10.9mm and weighs 140g.
It's powered by a 1,900mAh battery and it ships with an xclusive Huawei user interface which is easier to customize and manage, as well as a dynamic weather widget. Honor also features a gyroscope for enhanced control in games, DLNA support, 3G data connectivity, 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 2.1, 512MB of RAM, 4GB ROM, and a microSD memory card slot. There's even A-GPS, an FM radio tuner, dual microphones, a compass, G-sensor, proximity sensor, light sensor, 160GB network capacity CloudDrive and a dynamic weather widget.
It'll be on sale in black soon, starting with China, Russia and the Middle East from Q4 2011 with other colors to follow.
