Until then, the Desire 820 is still an impressive handset in the mid-range space. It has a 5.5-inch HD 720p display, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of built-in storage, microSD card slot with support for up to 128GB capacity memory cards, 8MP front-facing camera for high-quality selfies, 13MP rear-facing camera with f/2.2 lens, dual frontal stereo speakers with HTC BoomSound, 802.11n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, micro USB 2.0, 4G LTE connectivity, and a 2600 mAh battery.

The Desire 820 measures 157.7mm by 78.74mm by 7.74mm and sports a two-tone color scheme that's available in Marble White, Tuxedo Gray, Santorini White, and Milky-Way Gray. It will ship this fall. No word yet on price.
