HTC Butterfly S Takes Flight with 5-inch Display, 1.9GHz Snapdragon Processor
We hope it does. The Butterfly S takes flight with a 5-inch Full HD 1080 Super LCD 3 display (440 pixels per inch) protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3, 1.9GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage aided by a microSD card slot and 25GB of free Dropbox for two years, UltraPixel rear-facing camera, 2.1-megapixel front-facing camera, front-facing BoomSound stereo speakers, and a generous 3,200mAh battery. On the software side, it's presumed Android 4.2 Jelly Bean is running the show, along with HTC Sense 5 with BlinkFeed.
For the sake of comparison, the HTC One sports a 4.7-inch display, 1.7GHz quad-core processor, and a 2,300mAh battery. It's also a decent upgrade over the original Butterfly, which features the same size display but with Corning Gorilla Glass 2, 1.5GHz quad-core Qualcomm S4 processor, 8MP rear-facing camera, and a comparatively pedestrian 2,020mAh battery.
