HP Begins Shipping 14-Inch SlateBook 14 Android Notebooks
There's a 1080p touch panel, NVIDIA's Tegra 4 powering things, and a claimed battery life of up to 9 hours. It's compatible with Miracast, equipped with BeatsAudio, and Android 4.3 (Jelly Bean) is installed. Unlike a phone or tablet, you'll have a full-fledged keyboard as well as a trackpad, and one of the most impressive designs we've seen on a notebook in some time... assuming you adore yellow, that is.

It weighs 3.7 pounds and measures at under 16mm thick, while including HDMI, USB 3.0, dual USB 2.0 ports, a headset/mic jack, AC adapter connector and a microSD card reader. The machine is on sale now through Amazon and other e-tailers for $429.99, but only time will tell if Google pushes down updates to a computer in the same way that it's doing for phones and tablets.
