Update: How To Watch The Chevy C8 Corvette Stingray Mid-Engine Sports Car Reveal Tonight

NextGenVette01
Tonight will be a historic moment for gearheads that intently follow the car industry. The Chevrolet Corvette throughout its entire run as a production vehicle has been a front-engine, rear-wheel-drive vehicle. And the for vast majority of those years, it has been powered by a V8 engine.

The 2020 Corvette Stingray [C8] changes that, as it will switch to a more preferable -- for a supercar -- mid-engine layout. While General Motors has teased the C8 Corvette Stingray for the past few months, the actual unveil will take place tonight at 10:50pm ET (7:50pm PT). You'll be able to watch the show by visiting the following link, or by checking out the embed below later tonight.

Up until this point, we've [officially] seen the 2020 Corvette Stingray in its final form, albeit adorned with plenty of camouflage. Along the way, General Motors has also revealed the design of the Stingray logo and its steering wheel.

Unofficially, we've recently seen a look at the uncovered Corvette Stingray both from the front [via a single blurry image] and from the back, which shows a Camaro-esque design. There have also been leaked photos floating around the web providing a very good glimpse at the interior.

The base Corvette Stingy is expected to be powered by a revised 6.2-liter naturally aspirated V8 engine delivering over 500 horsepower to the rear wheels. For those that crave more power, there will likely be a 4.2-liter DOHC V8 that pumps out 650 horsepower. When even 600+ horsepower won't do, a rumored 5.5-liter DOHC V8 will belt out in excess of 800 horsepower.

We'll have to wait until tonight to get all of the details on the C8 Corvette Stingray's powertrain, performance figures, features, and hopefully price.

An official interior shot of the 2020 Corvette Stingray has leaked, and it looks awesome. Although, that single row of nearly two dozen buttons is a bit... different...
