Gigabyte's G1-Killer Mainboards To Integrate E2100 NIC Technology
These boards will obviously be aimed at hardcore gamers who are willing to pay a premium for the very best in class; aside from buying a new mobo, buyers would be buying a very specialized networking card, one that balances out your gaming experience and has been proven to smooth gameplay even on less than stable connections. The odd thing here is that no other details are provided. We are left to assume that this deal was just recently worked out, as the G1-Killer line has no specifications whatsoever. Will it support AMD or Intel chips? How many RAM slots? All of those questions remain unanswered, but hopefully neither company will keep us in the dark for much longer.
GIGABYTE G1-KillerTM Motherboards Deliver Lethal Online Gaming Performance With Bigfoot Networks KillerTM Technology
Bigfoot Networks KillerTM E2100 Platform Powers Latest Gaming Motherboards at 2011 CES
LAS VEGAS, NV--(Marketwire - January 5, 2011) - CES -- Bigfoot Networks, the technology company behind the Killer™ line of gaming network cards, today announced that GIGABYTE TECHNOLOGY Co., Ltd's new line of G1-Killer™ gaming motherboards employs Bigfoot Networks' Killer™ E2100 networking platform, enabling maximum speed and precision in the latest generation of online games.
The Killer™ E2100 platform is a new, embedded version of Bigfoot Networks' award-winning Killer™ 2100 gaming network card, which offers unrivaled performance, intelligence and control to online gamers.
