GameStop Issues Last Call for Xbox One Day One Standard Edition Pre-Orders
"Calling all gamers, if you have not pre-ordered your Xbox One console, now is your last chance," said Bob Puzon, senior vice president of merchandising for GameStop. "We have worked closely with Microsoft to offer our customers another opportunity to pre-order an Xbox One before its official launch date. One of the many great features of the Xbox One is that there are no limitations to using and sharing games and players can share and trade in games as before."
Time is quickly running out, but if you're interested, you can pre-order the above mentioned console at any U.S. GameStop location or online with a $100 deposit that will be applied to the $499 cost.
While on the topic of next generation consoles, Sony's PlayStation 4 will debut to retail on November 15, 2013, in the U.S., a full week before the Xbox One. The other advantage Sony has is price. By not bundling in a motion control sensor, Sony is able to keep its PS4 priced at $399 (the Xbox One is more expensive but comes with a Kinect).
