Fujifilm Announces Five New Cameras

The PMA tradeshow is always a hot spot for digital imagining manufacturers to introduce new products and new technologies. In preparations for the PMA show, Fujifilm introduced its first waterproof camera, FinePix Z33WPthe FinePix Z33WP. The 10MP FinePix Z33WP can be submersed up to 10 feet. It features a 3x optical Fujinon zoom lens and a 2.7-inch, 230,000 pixel LCD. The Z33WP also includes SR AUTO for automatic scene recognition. The FinePix Z33WP will be available in late March at a retail price of $199.95.

Fujifilm’s new FinePix Z30 boasts of a 2.7-inch LCD, 10MP sensor, and a Fujinon 3x optical zoom lens. It too features SR AUTO in addition to Face Detection Technology and Blog it with Dual Blog Mode. The FinePix Z30 will debut in March for $179.95.FinePix Z30

As the successor to the popular FinePix S1000, the new FinePix S1500 offers a Fujinon 12x optical zoom lens (33mm-396mm equivalent) along with a 10MP sensor. Like all S-series digital cameras, it has Dual Image Stabilization and SR AUTO modes. The FinePix S1500 operates on four AA Batteries. Look for the FinePix S1500 FinePix S1500 in March at a retail price of $249.95.

Last but not least, the newest addition to the FinePix J-series line-up are the new FinePix J20 and FinePix J250 cameras. Both offer SR AUTO. The FinePix J20 is only 17.4mm thick and houses a 10MP CCD, a 3x Fujinon optical zoom lens, and a brilliant 2.7-inch LCD. The FinePix J250 offers a 3.0-inch high resolution LCD and Fujinon 5x wide angle optical zoom. The FinePix J20 will debut this month for retail price of $129.95. The FinePix J250 will be available next month for $199.95.
