EMC, Intel Form OEM, Technology Relationship

SAN DIEGO, Storage Networking World, April 4, 2006 – EMC Corporation and Intel Corporation today announced a multi-year storage original equipment manufacturer (OEM) and expanded technology agreement focused on the growing storage requirements of small- and medium-sized businesses (SMBs).

As part of the agreement, Intel will offer a networked storage system based on the EMC CLARiiON AX150, introduced yesterday, to Intel resellers and distributors worldwide. Resellers will offer the easy-to-use, cost-effective system to customers under their own private brands and labels.
