ECS Introduces A85F2-A Deluxe Motherboard for Socket FM2 CPUs
The A85F2-A Deluxe is one of five FM2 models ECS has planned, the other four being the A75F2-A2, A75F2-M2, A55F2-A2, and A55F2-M3. As for the A85F2-A Deluxe, this board wields half a dozen USB 3.0 ports, eight 2.0 ports, GbE LAN, seven 6Gbps SATA connectors with RAID 0/1/5/10 support, 8-channel on-board audio, and HDMI, DVI, and D-Sub video output.
If you're heavy into content creation or workstation chores, you'll be happy to know the A85F2-A Deluxe boasts support for up to 64GB of dual-channel DDR3 memory, which are installed in four sockets with a maximum speed of 1866MHz, or 2300MHz if you plan to overclock, ECS says. Rounding out the feature-set are two 2nd generation PCI-E x16 slots with Crossfire support, three PCI-E x1 slots, and a pair of old-school PCI slots.
No word yet on how much this puppy will cost, nor when you can take it home with you.
