If you're down for a bit of a walk down memory lane in the first-person shooter genre,
Bethesda and
id Software are serving up a hot plate of retro goodness today. To celebrate the 25
th anniversary of the original Doom's launch, re-releases of
Doom,
Doom II, and
Doom 3 are being made available across all major gaming platforms.
If you're currently rocking an Xbox One, PlayStation 4 or a Nintendo Switch, you'll have access to all three of those aforementioned games. For iOS and Android users, only Doom and Doom II are available via the App Store and the Google Play Store respectively.
The original Doom supports local 4-player deathmatch and 4-player local co-op. It also includes the Episode IV: The Flesh Consumed expansion pack with 9 additional levels. Doom II includes the same deathmatch/co-op options along with The Master Levels expansion pack, which features an additional 20 levels.
Finally, Doom 3 supports just single-player, but throws in both the Resurrection of Evil and The Lost Missions expansion packs.
Both Doom and Doom II are priced at $4.99 each, while Doom 3 will set you back $9.99. This pricing is mirrored across all platforms. You'll find direct access to the games on their respective platforms using the links below:
