Dell "Can't Build Enough" XPS 13 Ultrabook Models
"We can't build enough of them at the moment," Sam Burd, vice president of Dell's Consumer and SMB product group, told CNet. "A little bit less than three times the expected demand."
Exactly how many XPS 13 models Dell was expecting to ship is a mystery, but whatever that number, it's safe to say Dell is pleasantly surprised with the reception and is starting to see what all the Ultrabook fuss is about.
As a refresher, the XPS 13 starts at $1,000 and comes equipped with a 2nd generation Intel Core i5 2467M processor clocked at 1.6GHz, Intel HD Graphics 3000, 4GB DDR3-1333MHz memory, 128GB SSD, 1.3MP webcam, 802.11n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 3.0, 6-cell battery, and Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit.
