Corsair Cranks Out Vengeance LPX 4.6GHz 16GB DDR4 Memory Kits For Intel Core X-Series
Corsair says that its range-topping Vengeance LPX DIMMs clock in at 4.6GHz, which is equal to that of the G.Skill Trident Z modules. And like its competitor, the Vengeance LPX modules feature hand-picked, high-grade Samsung B-die ICs to ensure stable performance in your gaming rig.
The Vengeance LPX modules having timings of CL19-26-26-46, and operate at a voltage of 1.5 volts. Although the memory was developed in conjunction with ASRock for use in its X299 OC Formula motherboard, they are fully complaint with the Intel XMP 2.0 platform. And they are also of course certified for use with Intel Core X-Series processors.
The Vengeance LPX modules clocked at 4.6GHz (CMK16GX4M2F4600C19) will ship on September 21st with an MSRP of $549.99. If you can’t wait that long, the next closest thing is the Vengeance LPX kit (16GB) clocked at 4.5GHz with tighter timings and an operating voltage of 1.45 volts. This SKU (CMK16GX4M2F4500C19) is available right now with an MSRP of $479.99 (although Corsair’s website currently says $504.99).
As with all other Corsair Vengeance LPX RAM, these modules come backed with a lifetime limited warranty.
