Carriers Finally Pushing Jelly Bean to LG Optimus G
Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean is slowly but surely finding its way onto LG's flagship device, particularly in Canada. According to Android Geeks, the Jelly Bean update is being pushed out by three big Canadian carriers, including Bell, Rogers, and Telus. What about LG Optimus G owners who live in the U.S.?
Good news there, too. HotHardware can confirm that Sprint is finally pushing an over-the-air (OTA) update to Jelly Bean, and not a moment too soon. Sprint actually announced it would get the ball rolling a couple of weeks ago, but whoever was put in charge of hitting the "send" button must have fallen asleep at the wheel.
The big feature in Jelly Bean is the introduction of Google Now. Other enhancements include an improved Notifications area, longer battery life, smoother performance, bug fixes, and the list goes on.
