AT&T Releases Jelly Bean Update For Motorola ATRIX HD
HTC's EVO LTE isn't the only phone receiving a shiny new Jelly Bean update. Today, AT&T announced a similar update for its Motorola ATRIX HD. Customers who have a Motorola ATRIX HD will be able to update their phone to Android 4.1 aka Jelly Bean starting today.
With the update, you'll get popular Jelly Bean features such as Google Now which provides real-time notifications such as weather, traffic, transit system updates, restaurant info, and more. You'll also get updated notifications that can be collapsed or expanded. With Jelly Bean, the full text of an SMS message as well as the full photo of a MMS can be viewed directly from the notification window. With Jelly Bean, users will also get the ability to respond to missed calls by text.
The Motorola ATRIX HD comes with additional safety features such Drive Smart which includes Enhanced Voice Search. The phone also has a Smart Actions Drive Rule which will enable an automatic reply for calls and texts or enable hands-free communications while driving.
The ATRIX HD is the fourth phone from AT&T to run Jelly Bean. Others include the Samsung Galaxy Note II, Samsung Galaxy S III, and HTC One X+. The update is available to ATRIX HD customers via Wi-Fi by navigating to Settings>About Phone>Software Updates on the phone.
