AT&T Makes OTA Update For Jelly Bean Available To Galaxy S III Owners

Two great tastes that go great together are Jelly Bean (Android 4.1.x) and Samsung's Galaxy S III, and it just so happens that Jelly Bean is exactly what's on AT&T's over-the-air (OTA) menu. So go ahead Galaxy III owners and feast your phones on the OTA update, which is reportedly being rolled out today!

Some of you may already have Jelly Bean installed on your Galaxy S III. It's actually been available to manually download and install via Samsung's free Kies software since early last month, beating both Verizon and U.S. Cellular to the punch in the U.S., though not Sprint and T-Mobile.

Perhaps the biggest reason to upgrade to Jelly Bean is Google Now, a virtual assistant similar to Apple's Siri, but arguably better. Jelly Bean also includes speed enhancements, better browser performance, improved camera controls, a redesigned notifications shade, and a whole lot more.
