ASUS Introducing Chromebooks, Smartphones, And Wearable Computing In 2014
ASUS expects to grow its smartphone sales by a factor of five, from one million units this year to five million in 2014, and it expects the growth to come in part from more retail stores in China and better partnerships with carriers worldwide.

ASUS is also expected to launch new chromebooks in the first quarter of 2014, which will include 11.6-inch ($199) and 13.3-inch ($249) models. The chromebooks should give ASUS another revenue stream to at least partially make up for a shrinking market for traditional laptops.

ASUS CEO Jerry Shen also dropped the news that ASUS will be launching wearable technology at Computex in 2014, although he did not elaborate as to what that means exactly, so we’ll be left to wonder if that means a smartwatch, Google Glass-like tech specs, or something else entirely.
It also won’t be bad for business that ASUS makes Google’s Nexus 7 tablet.
