Apple Offers Students Tempting Bundle Of Final Cut And Logic Pro For $199

It is no secret that students and teachers have to shell out a lot of cash for school supplies. Education customers, however, can now get a major discount on some rather tempting video and music editing software. Apple is currently selling its “Pro Apps Bundle for Education” for $199.99 USD.

According to Apple the “Pro Apps Bundle for Education is a collection of five industry-leading apps from Apple that deliver powerful creative tools for video editors and musicians.” It includes Final Cut Pro X, Logic Pro X, Motion 5, Compressor 4, and MainStage 3. Final Cut Pro X is usually $299 by itself and Logic Pro X typically costs $199.

Final Cut Pro X is used in professional video editing, and includes “Magnetic Timeline 2” which helps user clip together their shots. Clips are able to move in order to prevent clip collisions and sync problems. Magnetic Timeline 2 also color codes audio clips and allows user to customize the look of their timeline so that can more easily edit their audio. Final Cut Pro X also incorporates multi-channel audio, mutli-cam, and color grading editing.

Logic Pro X is intended for advanced music production. Users are able to compose, record, edit, and mix professional-quality tracks. The software also includes a library of sounds and features such as Drummer, Flex Pitch, Smart Controls, and MIDI plug-ins.

Motion 5, Compressor 4, and MainStage 3 help to bring user’s creations neatly together. Motion 5 provides helps animated 3D titles, transitions, and animations for Final Cut Pro X. Users can “customize output settings, speed up your work with distributed encoding, and easily package your creations for the iTunes Store” in Compressor 4. MainStage 3 allows customers to use keyboard, guitar, and vocal effects in order to develop concert-ready songs in Logic Pro X.
