Amazon Gifts Over $200 Worth Of Apps Just In Time For Christmas
For those who celebrate the occasion, Christmas is just a day away, and it certainly has Amazon in the giving mood. Getting into the holiday spirit, the mega online retailer kicked off Christmas week with sale prices on a bunch of gadgets, and here on the home stretch, the company is offering a bodacious bundle of apps and games at no cost!
Starting today and running until December 26th, the Amazon Appstore will offer a number of paid apps and games from a range of developers like Halfbrick Studios, Rovio Entertainment, and Sega of America. The apps being given away would normally run anywhere from $0.99 on up to $64.99.
"Also starting today, and for a limited time, when customers buy or gift Amazon Coins, they can get up to a 30 percent discount on their overall Coins purchase—up to triple the normal savings to spend on apps, games and in-app items, like card packs in Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft, gold in Game of War-Fire Age, lollipop hammers in Candy Crush Saga and gems in Brave Frontier," Amazon said.
Today's bundle includes several gems like Terraria, Angry Birds Space HD, Angry Birds Space (Ad-Free Edition), Fleksy Keyboard, Sonic the Hedgehog 2, Worms 3, and several others. Curious about that $64.99 app? It's The Muscular System Manual: The Skeletal Muscles of the Human Body -- according to its developer, the app is designed to make the study of musculoskeletal anatomy easier and more engaging.
