Microsoft unveiled a number of significant upgrades to its Xbox 360 platform with the latest Xbox LIVE Update. While the update is available today, a few of the new features won’t be available until tomorrow, August 13th. Here’s a quick look at what you can look forward to with the update. Games on Demand Starting tomorrow, you’ll be able to browse and purchase games through the Xbox LIVE Marketplace. New game titles will be added every Tuesday, and your game licenses will be linked to your Xbox LIVE account, so you’ll be able to download your purchased games to any console you’re logged into. Say what you will, but Wolfenstein 3D is back in full force, in a way that Duke Nukem only wishes he could be. Just months after the heralded first-person shooter made its way onto Apple's App Store, the classic title is now destined to waste even more time when it comes to Xbox LIVE Arcade and the PlayStation Network.Activision Publishing and id Software will be bringing the "legendary" title over to those two platforms on June 3rd (that's Wednesday!), and even though graphics have advanced a wee bit since its development, the ESRB is still rating this heavily pixelated game M for Mature. There are plenty of reasons to be an Xbox Live Gold member—you can game online, get demos early, etc. Now, Microsoft is now offering yet another incentive to attract new Xbox Live Gold-level members and to keep existing members: There will be weekly sales on content for Gold members. To kick off the promotion, Braid will be sold for 800 points, or $10. The regular price for Braid is 1,200 gamer points or $15. These deals won’t be on old content, either.
