The CeBIT trade show has opened its doors to the world today, and a handful of companies are already out making announcements. Corsair is getting things started right with a new line of ultra-high speed, high capacity USB flash drives. By and large, the flash drive market has grown somewhat stale. There's just not a lot of innovation left in the industry, and while some vendors are outing USB 3.0 versions of existing sticks, Corsair is digging deeper than the obvious. The company has decided to stick with USB 2.0 (presumably to keep costs down), but they're using a new quad-channel architecture to enable speeds of up to 34MB/s over the traditionally sluggish USB 2.0 protocol.
