Samsung has announced that the biggest TV it has offered will go on sale starting next month. The TV is called The Wall Luxury, and it promises a new user interface and experience for users. The large TV has a customizable decor frame that enhances the display and ensures that it will fit in any space. The self-emitting diodes that the giant TV uses are good for up to 100,000 hours. Samsung also has a standard "The Wall" TV, and it is designed never to turn off. When the user isn't watching TV on the massive screen, which is configurable and customizable, it can display images. At last year's Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas, Samsung introduced The Wall, a fantastically large 146-inch micro LED display. Now a year later, Samsung is upping the ante with an even bigger 219-inch model, as well as a more pedestrian 75-inch micro LED display that could actually find its way into living rooms. These displays that are powered by micro LED technology ditch the traditional backlight and replaces it with millions of inorganic red, green, and blue microscopic LED chips, each of which emits its own light. In a bid to push consumers to upgrade their television sets, TV makers have been pushing increasingly large screens, some as big as 75 inches or even 80 inches. These big screen TVs do not necessarily cost a fortune, either. However, Samsung just made even the biggest consumer TVs look puny by comparison with the unveiling of its massive 146-inch modular, self-emitting microLED TV at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas.
