Last week, Acer announced the Predator Helios 500 gaming laptop with Intel Coffee Lake processors and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070 graphics. However, Acer is also making a version of the laptop for gamers that bleed AMD red. The Predator Helios 500 (PH517-61) adopts AMD's new second-generation Ryzen processors, up to a Ryzen 7 2700. This particular processor packs a powerful punch with 8 physical cores for a total of 16 threads.
