The United States military and Microsoft have been working together over the last few years to create a headset with HoloLens technology. They recently provided an update about their contract and the development behind this headset. Microsoft's Integrated Visual Augmentation System headset could be used by the military this coming fall.  The development of the Integrated Visual Augmentation System (IVAS) has largely been based upon feedback from soldiers. Artificial intelligence allows us to push the boundaries of human capabilities. AI can contribute to self-driving cars, aid in medical diagnosis, and respond to us when we ask a device about the weather. Microsoft’s CEO Satya Nadella, however, recently warned listeners at the Digital Life Design conference in Munich against hubris with regards to AI. Nadella was particularly concerned in his interview about replacing human beings with robots.
