We're all a bit antsy for NVIDIA to launch another round of mobile GPUs for laptops, and evidently that day is drawing near. In fact, that day is so close that Lenovo is apparently bursting at the seams. On a support page for its Legion Y530 and Legion Y7000P laptops, Lenovo references an unreleased GeForce GTX 1160. It doesn't appear to be a typo. The GeForce GTX 1160 designation sits alongside a few other GPU options, namely the existing GeForce GTX 1050 and GeForce GTX 1050 Ti, both of which come in 2GB and 4GB flavors. It looks as though more Turing GPU rumors are starting to filter out into the wild, and the latest revolves around the release schedule for NVIDIA's next generation GPU family. As with all GeForce GTX 11 Series rumors that we've heard over the past few months, we'll have to take this latest report with a big spoon of salt given that NVIDIA itself has been tight-lipped about the products. The new report revolves around an email that was allegedly shared between an NVIDIA board partner and a retailer that will be selling the GeForce GTX 11 Series to customers. NVIDIA has yet to announce its next-generation GeForce lineup, or even offer any hints, other than being booked to discuss its next-gen GPUs at the Hot Chips conference in August. The company's hardware partners have been a bit more forthcoming, though, especially Lenovo, which will reportedly launch a Legion Y530 laptop with a GeForce GTX 1160 inside.
