At this point, we're pretty certain that Samsung plans to launch the Galaxy Watch Active 2 this year, just months after the original Galaxy Watch Active launched. We first saw prototypes of the Tizen OS-based smartwatch last month, and more recently, we've seen official press renders of the device. Back in late February, Samsung announced its sleek and sporty Galaxy Watch Active, which is an Exynos 9110-powered smartwatch with a 1.1-inch 360x360 display running Tizen OS. Given that we are not far removed from the launch of the Galaxy Watch Active, we weren't expecting to see its successor this soon. SamMobile claims to have uncovered photo evidence of the Galaxy Watch Active 2, and reports that the device will be available in 40mm and 44mm case sizes.
