Samsung, like most device manufacturers, want to place a display into every aspect of your digital life. From televisions, to computers, to tablets, to smartphones, to smartwatches — Samsung has you covered. So we’ve been watching with great interest as Samsung teased its Galaxy View tablet, and even more so when specs began leaking to the web. Today, Samsung has officially launched the Android 5.1 Lollipop-powered 18.4-inch Galaxy View, which looks somewhat like a hybrid between a smallish TV and an Android tablet. Samsung's going big with its next Galaxy tablet -- way big. We're talking about the oft-rumored Galaxy View, a slate with a monstrous 18.4-inch display powered by Samsung's own octa-core Exynos 7580 System-on-Chip (SoC) and 2GB of RAM. How do we know this? The specs come courtesy of an overeager online retailer. The Galaxy View was spotted for pre-order on Adorama's website. Apparently Samsung wasn't ready to let the cat out of the bag on this one, as the listing is no longer live.
