As a way of promoting the One City initiative, and Circle the Schools, tech advocacy group sf.citi released a spoof video that makes fun of the furor that occurs during the unveiling of a new tech product. Founded by investor Ron Conway, sf.citi’s goal is to help bring tech companies and communities in San Francisco together. The organization’s first step is Circle the Schools. An initiative that involves local tech companies adopting San Francisco public schools. If you believe everything that took place in the docudrama The Social Network, then Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg was originally opposed to the idea of implementing ads into his social network, claiming they're not cool. Today, Facebook has ads, supposedly targeted ones, though we often we run into sponsored posts that have nothing to do with our interests. Whatever, that's a topic for another time. At issue here is what to do with those ads. Biz Stone, co-founder of Twitter, is now a regular Facebook user.
