Digital assistants have become a standard feature of practically every smartphone around these days, and are such a big deal that Samsung created its own version in Bixby. Looking ahead, Samsung is planning to roll out an upgraded version of its artificial intelligence platform, Bixby 2.0, and it will reportedly arrive alongside the Galaxy Note 9 sometime in the second half of this year (presumably in the fall). Samsung has announced the next major version of its Bixby voice assistant at Samsung Developer conference (SDC) 2017. The new voice assistant is Bixby 2.0 and Samsung promises that the intelligent assistant platform will bring a connected experience that is "ubiquitous, personal, and open."
