Comcast Cares… about its image. Comcast has never ranked highly when it comes to customers satisfaction and is a two-time winner of The Consumerist’s “Worst Company in America” title. The broadcasting/telecommunications giant has come under immense fire in recent months for the way it has treated customers, including changing one customer’s name to “Asshole Brown” on their bill and missing 14 scheduled appointments to install service at a residence. If you’re a Comcast customer, we’re sorry. The company has drawn the ire of many Americans over the years for its poor customer service and generally unprofessional employees. In fact, Comcast took top honors as Consumerist’s Worst Company in America for 2014 (let’s give it up for the two-time winner).  In the midst of its campaign to secure approval for an acquisition of rival Time Warner Cable, stories have popped up in recent weeks detailing how customer service reps have sunk to new lows to humiliate customers. Just when you thought Comcast employees couldn’t get any scummier, they have to go and top themselves with even more rude and childish behavior. On Thursday, we brought you the story of Lisa Brown, who simply called into Comcast to downgrade her service, as her family was undergoing financial hardships. Instead of promptly complying with Mrs. Brown’s wishes, a retention specialist attempted to persuade her to sign a new two-year contract and continue paying for service that she couldn’t afford.
