Toshiba Enters 3.5-Inch External HDD Market

Toshiba announced the new Toshiba 3.5-inch External HDD today, marking the company’s first entry into the 3.5-inch external HDD market. The new Toshiba 3.5-inch External HDD features dual connectivity with high-speed USB 2.0 and eSATA ports and a software application that lets customers back up and restore selected files as well as an entire system.

The 3.5-inch External HDD has a sleek, glossy finish that is designed to match the company’s family of consumer laptops. The 3.5-inch External HDD is priced at $129.99 for 640GB and $159.99 for 1TB. Both versions are PC and Mac compatible and come with a Toshiba 3-year standard limited warranty.
