T-Mobile to Sell Samsung Galaxy S III for Free on Contract November 16 and 17 Only
"If getting a great deal on your gift purchases is important, and you prefer to limit your time in holiday checkout lines, then this T-Mobile promotional offer could be for you," said Andrew Sherrard, senior vice president of marketing, T-Mobile USA. "We think this offer will be particularly attractive for families who would like every member to have a mobile device but don’t think it fits their budget. This promotion will make it easier for consumers to join the smartphone revolution by making the best devices and data plans more affordable."

The sale applies to both new and existing customers, the latter of which much be eligible for an upgrade. So, what's the catch? Well, you still have to come up with the money beforehand, after which you'll receive a mail-in-rebate card. If you're purchasing the Galaxy S III, for example, you'll have to pony up $299.99 (Classic Plan) or $199.99 (Unlimited Value with an Equpiment Installment Plan), and then send in your mail-in-rebate card for $300 or $200. That's a bit of a bummer, though still a fantastic deal if you don't mind jumping through T-Mobile's mail-in-rebate hoops.
