T-Mobile, billing itself as “America’s un-carrier”, is experimenting with different promotions and programs; we’ve seen a contract-less unlimited everything plan and the JUMP plan that lets users swap out their phones every six months, and now the company is running a zero-down promotion.
Customers will pay nothing up front for handsets, instead making monthly payments for their devices. “The number of reasons not to switch to T-Mobile this summer is ZERO," said John Legere, president and chief executive officer, T-Mobile US (presumably with a pun-tastic relish).
