Swype Update Brings Support For Android 4.0

We knew the Swype team was working on updating this popular keyboard for Android 4.0 aka Ice Cream Sandwich but we didn't know exactly how long we'd have to wait to enjoy one of our favorite keyboards on this latest and greatest OS. Now, the wait is over.

That’s right, folks. Swype has officially been updated to support Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. Although you won't be able to pick up this popular keyboard by visiting the Android Market, you can head on over to the company's website and download it. There's one final caveat: The software is technically still in beta stages for Android 4.0.

In addition to Android 4.0 support, the company also announced Swype Add-ons for DragonGo!, downloadable languages for tablets, and general accuracy improvements.
