Sprint Announces Upcoming Availability Of LG Mach, Begins Taking Preorders For LG Optimus G

Soon, Sprint customers will have two additional LG smartphone options. Customers can currently preorder the upcoming LG Optimus G, which is set to be available November 11. This smartphone features an advanced 13 megapixel camera that has features designed to replace your point-and-shoot camera including burst shot and smile detection features. The LG Optimus G utilizes Qualcomm’s 1.5GHz Snapdragon S4 Pro quad-core CPU processor. It also offers connectivity to Sprint's 4G LTE network.

In addition to burst shot and smile detection, the LG Optimus G's camera features a Time Catch Shot mode that captures a burst of photos before the shutter button is even pressed. You can then pick the best shot from the photos to share with friends and family. The camera's Smart Shutter feature is designed for capturing crisp and clear action shots. The LG Optimus G can also capture photos using voice controls.

Other key features of the LG Optimus G include a 4.7-inch True HD (high-definition) IPS Plus display (1280 x 768) with Corning Gorilla Glass 2, 32GB of memory, 2GB of RAM, Android 4.0, and a 2,100 mAh battery. The LG Optimus G sells for $199.99 with a two-year contract.

Sprint also announced the upcoming availability of the new LG Mach smartphone. This smartphone is designed to offer a more budget-friendly option for users who want 4G LTE connectivity. The LG Mach will also be available on November 11. It will sell for $99.99 with a two-year contract.

The Mach is one of the thinnest devices with a QWERTY keyboard from Sprint measuring 0.48 inches thick. This phone features a 4-inch IPS WVGA display (800x480), a 1.2GHz dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM, Android 4.0, and a 1,700 mAh battery.

Additional features of the Mach include a 5 megapixel rear-facing camera and a 0.3 front-facing VGA camera. The Mach comes with the Time Catch Shot feature that can capture up to five images. The Mach also comes with LG's QuickMemo which lets you personalize message and share comments across a wide range of content including web pages, digital magazines, photos and more.

Sprint is continuing to expand its 4G LTE network and its 4G LTE devices. Currently, Sprint offers 4G LTE service in 32 cities.
