Specs Emerge For Samsung Galaxy S III

Although Samsung has already made it known that the company won't be announcing the highly-anticipated Galaxy S III smartphone at Mobile World Congress this year, that hasn't stopped specs of this hot phone from leaking onto the web.

One of the reasons Samsung isn't planning to announce the Galaxy S III at Mobile World Congress is because it wants to shorten the gap between announcing the phone and actually launching it around the world. When the time comes, Samsung plans to launch the Galaxy S III in over 50 markets or cities simultaneously.

Some of the reported specs for the Samsung Galaxy S III include a 4.8-inch full HD 1080p resolution display with 16:9 aspect ratio, a ceramic back, 1.5GHz quad-core Samsung Exynos processor, Android 4.0, 4G LTE, a 2 megapixel front-facing camera, an 8-megapixel rear camera, and more. It's hard to say exactly what type of display the Samsung Galaxy S III will employ, but there's talk about a Super AMOLED Plus HD screen.
