Sotec's DC204A3 Netbook Has 32GB SSD

Sotec, a brand that primarily stays in Japan behind parent company Onkyo, has just issued a new netbook that takes a unique approach on things. For starters, it includes a 32GB SSD, which is rather large compared to other netbook-bound SSDs. The DC204A3 also features a 1.6GHz Intel Atom N270 processor, Intel's 945GSE graphics chipset, 1GB of memory and a 10.1" display with a typical 1,024 x 600 resolution.

Otherwise, the machine's pretty standard. It's got Windows XP Home SP3, a few USB 2.0 sockets, audio input / output ports and an ultrathin design. Strangely, Sotec decided to ditch the VGA and Ethernet connectors, which means the only external display you'll be hooking up to this thing is a USB-enabled monitor. Oh, and we hope Wi-Fi is alright for connectivity, 'cause that's all you're getting. It's expected to ship soon in Japan for around $530, but there's no indication of a US release date.
