Samsung Unveils Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus

In what appears to essentially be an update of its Galaxy Tab 7.0 released a year or so ago, Samsung announced the Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus.

The new tablet runs on Android 3.2 (Honeycomb) and features a 1.2GHz dual core processor, front- and rear-facing cameras, and support for Adobe Flash. Connectivity features include HSPA+, WiFi (802.11a/b/g/n), and Bluetooth 3.0.

The Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus will come in 16GB and 32GB capacities, with the option of expanding to up to 64GB with a microSD card.

The new tablet will be available in Indonesia and Austria as soon as the end of October. There’s no word yet on pricing, and a timetable on global availability is vague, although it will eventually land in Southeast and Southwest Asia, US, Europe, CIS, Latin America, Middle East, Africa, Japan and China.
