Samsung Preps Trio of Galaxy Pro Tablets for Early 2014

Word around the web is that Samsung is getting ready to refresh its Galaxy line of mobile devices. It looks like the South Korean electronics maker will add three "Galaxy Pro" tablets to its portfolio sometime in the first quarter of Q1, along with a "Galaxy Lite" slate, the only one of the four that won't feature 4G LTE connectivity (it will, however, have 3G connectivity, along with built-in Wi-Fi like the rest).

Citing an unnamed insider, the folks at Sam Mobile say Samsung has on tap a Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 (SM-T320/T325), Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 (SM-T520/T525), Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 (SM-P900/P905), and Galaxy Tab 3 Lite (SM-T110/T111).


Kicking off the new line will be the Galaxy Tab 3 Lite, the first of the bunch to hit retail around week two. It will come in Cream White and sport a 7-inch display. After that, Sam Mobile's insider says the Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 and Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 will arrive sometime in week six, followed by the Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 a week later.

Details are rather sparse at this point. All of the Pro tablets will come in black and white color options. The 8.4-inch and 10.1-inch models will come with 16GB of internal storage, and the 12.2-inch SKU will ship with 32GB of storage.
