Samsung NX3000 Smart Camera: Old School Design Meets Modern Day Features And Connectivity
There's more to the NX3000 than just enabling narcissism. It has a 20.3-megapixel APS-C CMOS sensor, 1/4000 shutter speed with 5fps continuous shooting, F3.5-5.6 aperture, 16-50mm power zoom lens with optical image stabilization, and adjustable ISO from 100 to 25,600. Pictures are saved to microSD cards, which you can then transfer to your PC using the micro USB port (also used for charging the camera). If you'd rather show off your handy work on your HDTV, there's a micro HDMI port that will allow you to do that.
Don't be fooled by the old school look, this new camera has built-in 802.11n Wi-Fi and NFC connectivity. Along with those features come a handful of sharing technologies, such as AutoShare, Auto Backup, Remote Viewfinder Pro, MobileLink (group share up to 4 people), Photo Beam, Samsung Link, and Home Monitor+, Samsung says.
No word on cost or ship date, though Samsung says the NX3000 will be available in white, black, and brown color options bundled with the aforementioned 16-50mm F3.5-5.6 Power Zoom ED OIS lens.
