Samsung Galaxy S4 Rumored to Ship in February at MWC
This information comes from The Korea Times, which claims it received confirmation from Samsung officials and local parts suppliers in the area. The timing makes sense, given that Galaxy S III devices are selling well -- over 20 million units sold in just over three months -- and should continue to do so throughout the holiday shopping season. From purely a hardware perspective, the Galaxy S III stacks up nicely against the iPhone 5, even exceeding it in several areas, including screen size, expandable storage, and so forth.

There's no concrete info on what the Galaxy S IV will bring to the table, though Samsung is expected to bump the screen size from 4.8 inches to 5 inches, while loading it up with more powerful hardware than what's found in the Galaxy S III. Android 4.1 Jelly Bean also seems like a logical inclusion.
One of the big questions revolves around how the Galaxy S IV will look. Samsung lost a high profile patent dispute with Apple, in part for copying the look and feel of iPhone and iPad devices in its Galaxy line, and was ordered to the pay the Cuptertino company over a billion dollars in damages. You can bet Samsung is taking appropriate steps to avoid another costly lawsuit with its Galaxy S IV device.
