Samsung Galaxy Note 9 Is Now On Sale, Which Carriers Offer The Best Incentives

In the Android smartphone world, the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 is pretty much an apex predator (check out the HotHardware review here). It comes with a massive 6.4-inch Super AMOLED Infinity Display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor paired with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 512GB of internal storage that can be augmented with a 512GB microSD.

Well, today the Galaxy Note 9 officially is available both online and in brick and mortar locations -- including from America's top wireless providers. While the Galaxy Note 9 brings a lot to the table, it requires a steep price of entry.  The base 128GB configuration with 6GB of RAM will set you back $999 off-contract, while the 8GB/512GB configuration is priced at an eye-popping $1,249.

With these prices in mind, today we're giving you a rundown on carrier pricing for the Galaxy Note 9, and which are offering standout deals for prospective customers. All carriers give you the option to buy the phones outright, but most customers will be opting to purchase a Galaxy Note 9 on an installment plan.

AT&T

By opting for AT&T Next, you can purchase a base Galaxy Note 9 for $33.34 per month for 30 months, or pay $41.67/month for the 512GB model. If you opt for AT&T Next Every Year, your payment will rise to $41.67/month and $52.09/month respectively.

However, AT&T is sweetening the deal with a buy one, get one free offer. If you purchase two Galaxy Note 9 smartphones using AT&T Next (with at least one new line), you will get $1,000 in credits to cover the cost of the device over the 30-month contract.

Verizon Wireless

Verizon charges customers $41.66/month and $52.08/month respectively for the 128GB and 512GB Galaxy Note 9 with an installment plan over the course of 24 months.

Like AT&T, Verizon is also running a BOGO promotion, which will give you $999 in credits spread out over 24 months to cover the cost of the second phone. You will, however, need to add a new line to take advantage of this offer.

T-Mobile

T-Mobile is taking a slightly different approach with its installments plans, and requires customers to plunk down $279.99 upfront for the 128GB model or $529 for the 512GB model. After that, either phone will cost you $30/month for 24 months.

T-Mobile isn't offering a BOGO promo at this time, but you can get up to $500 in bill credits if you trade in a Galaxy Note 5/Galaxy S7 or newer smartphone.

Sprint

Sprint plots its own path with the Galaxy Note 9, charging customers just $20.80/month for the 128GB model (we don't see any option via its website to purchase the 512GB model). You'll pay that price for 18 months, after which you will have the opportunity to trade it in to get a new smartphone, or pay off the remainder of the balance (either via one lump sum or over the course of an additional 6 months).
