Rumor: Yahoo To Reject MS's Offer?
As always, take all rumors with a grain of salt until we can receive official confirmation or denail.
It's being rumored that Microsoft's proposed $44.6 billion bid to takeover Yahoo Inc.might be turned down by Yahoo's board of directors. Perhaps the strangest news is the Google is getting involved to try to block the deal:
“Leery of Microsoft expanding its turf on the Internet, Google already has offered to help Yahoo avert a takeover and urged antitrust regulators to take a hard look at the proposed deal.”
