Until you see an official press release on the subject consider this nothing more than a very likely rumor backed up by a picture, but it looks like Intel might be adopting NVIDIA's SLI technology after all.
"And the biggest story of the show so far is: Intel has landed an SLI licence for desktop, not just mobile.
You don't believe us? Look at the tag on the picture below. The deal was confirmed multiple times by the vendor and others.
Below the tagged shot is a full board one with most identifying things blanked out to save the vendor's blushes."
This particular rumor has been making the rounds ever since ATI was acquired by AMD. It seems logical to assume that Intel might chose to use NVIDIA SLI technology for their upcoming dual socket V8 systems, even if it comes as part of a product refresh.
