Rise Of The Tomb Raider Swings To Windows 10 PCs In January Both Guns Blazing
Publisher Square Enix released the newest Lara Croft title to Xbox One and Xbox 360 a little more than a month ago on November 10 in the U.S. When it was first announced at Gamescom earlier in the year, it was pitched as an exclusive Xbox game, though Microsoft later said it was only talking about the initial release over the holiday period.
Developed by Crystal Dynamics, Rise of the Tomb Raider is a sequel to the 2013 Tomb Raider reboot (the second time the series has seen a reboot). It features similar game play with a third-person perspective, but with more animals this time around, including a bear.
"Featuring epic, high-octane action moments set in the most beautiful hostile environments on earth, Rise of the Tomb Raider delivers a cinematic survival action adventure where you will join Lara Croft on her first tomb raiding expedition as she seeks to discover the secret of immortality," the game's description reads.
Rise of the Tomb Raider is also expected to launch to Sony's PlayStation 4 console, though that release won't come until the fourth quarter of next year.
