Raidmax Rolls Out Funktastic Raptor Gaming Case with Blood Red Underbelly
There's a dark-tinted airfoil design that sits above the LED illuminated case fans. It's translucent and flanked by fender-like blades on both sides of the front panel. On the inside, there's a modular HDD cage that supports up to five 3.5-inch or 2.5-inch drives. It slides out without any tools, after which time you'll need to fetch a screwdriver to attach your HDD or SSD. If you remove the HDD cage, you can install graphics cards up to 430mm in length. Another removable drive cage holds two more 2.5-inch drives.
One the cooling front, the Raptor breathes air with the aid of four included 120mm fans, with the option of installing one more in front. The front-mounted 120mm LED fan blows right over the top of the HDD cage or directly on the graphics card. There are also ventilation holes on the side panel and bottom PSU area.
Finally, the Raptor includes pre-routed cable management cutouts and clips, supports USB 3.0, and sports two control knows to adjust fan speed and brightness.
The Raptor will ship in the U.S. and Canada in May for $100 MSRP.
