QuakeCon Keynotes Doom Eternal And Multiplayer Battlemode, Id Game Deals Hit Steam
QuakeCon will be kicking off soon, and we expect a lot more details on Doom Eternal than what was announced during E3 last month. QuakeCon is also expected to showcase some of Bethesda's current games along with upcoming titles. Scheduled to be detailed at the event is the multiplayer component of Doom Eternal called "Battlemode." This mode allows players to battle it out in a fight with two players playing as demons and one playing as a human slayer.
How exactly Battlemode works is a bit vague right now, but new details at QuakeCon 2019 should clarify the mode. Bethesda has offered up a schedule for QuakeCon, and it reveals that Doom Eternal and the entire Doom series of games will be heavily featured during all of QuakeCon.
One of the sessions at QuakeCon will include leads from id Software, MachineGames, Bethesda Game Studios, and Bethesda Softworks in a round table discussion that will cover games old and new, along with trends in shooters. Doom Eternal is set for launch on November 22, 2019.
