PS Vita Pre-Order Page Hints at March 2012 Release
BestBuy Canada has sparked rumors of an early-2012 release of the PlayStation Vita today with the posting of a Vita pre-order release date of March 30, 2012.
The pre-orders apply to both the Wi-Fi only and Wi-Fi + 3G models that Sony is releasing. Sony confirmed just last week that the handheld would be releasing in North America and Europe in "early 2012," with a Japanese release arriving first, in the coming holiday season.
The official release date has yet to be released, and will not be until this September, so it would be wise to take BestBuy Canada's posting with a grain of salt. Sony's previously mentioned release window does line up with the posted date, however, so a little bit of excitement may be warranted.
