Pandigital Introduces 6" ePaper E-Reader With Wi-Fi
This new model also integrates the Barnes & Noble eBookstore, a touch panel and a 600x800 screen resolution. Users who are worried about glare need not worry here; like all other e-paper rivals, this one also has a non-reflective screen so it can easily be used outdoors. It weighs 9.1 ounces and has a battery life of 6,000 page turns; Pandigital has also included adjustable font size, a built-in dictionary, word/character search, highlighting, and creation of multiple bookmarks.
Finally, there's 2GB of internal storage, a built-in memory card reader and a price of $199.99. That's still a bit expensive compared to the NOOK and Kindle, but who knows -- maybe there's a market out there somewhere given the built-in Wi-Fi and web browser.
