OnePlus 7 Pro Leaks With Pop-Up Selfie Camera, Pro 5G Rumored

We know OnePlus is readying a new flagship handset, and specifically the OnePlus 7, because there have been a bunch of leaks pointing to that fact. That includes leaked renders. Interestingly, however, some of the renders we have seen might actually be of a higher end OnePlus 7 Pro model that will launch alongside the regular OnePlus 7.

There could even be a third model, a OnePlus 7 Pro 5G, which as the name implies would offer 5G connectivity. We would say it is even very likely, based on a recent post by famed leaker Steve Hemmerstoffer, otherwise known as @OnLeaks on Twitter.
According to Steve, OnePlus will hold a launch event next month on May 14th. At that time, OnePlus is expected to launch the OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro, and also unveil the OnePlus 7 Pro 5G.

The regular OnePlus 7 is said to have a 6.4-inch flat display with a teardrop notch for the front-facing camera. Around back, it will wield a dual camera arrangement with a 48-megapixel primary shooter.

In contrast, the OnePlus 7 Pro and presumably the OnePlus 7 Pro 5G will both have a 6.64-inch curved display that ditches the notch. The selfie cam will pop up from the top, as we have seen in previous leaks. The Pro variants will also gain a third camera sensor in the back for a triple rear camera arrangement, which will also consist of a 48MP primary shooter, plus telephoto and ultra-wide angle lenses.

Other specs are not yet known, but let's get real, these devices are almost definitely going to wield a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor. Anything less would be uncivilized (*fistbump* if you get the reference).

We also expect the OnePlus 7 series to at least match the memory and storage arrangement on the OnePlus 6T, which can be bought in 6GB, 8GB, and even 10GB configurations with 256GB of storage. Might we see the OnePlus 7 Pro ship with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB or even 1TB of storage? Those are certainly possibilities, but we'll have to wait until next month to find out for sure.
